The second house · Dwarka
Twelve rooms, each of them a 1RK — a room and a kitchen, not a bedroom with a kettle in the corner. It is a small house by design. Twelve rooms is a number a single desk can actually keep an eye on, which is the whole argument for building it this size.
The Chapter is not a chain and Dwarka will not be a copy of Vasant Kunj. What travels between the two is the way the place is run — a desk staffed around the clock, breakfast laid before anyone needs it, rooms kept to a standard that does not move with the season.
The building is still going up, so there are no photographs on this page. There will be none until they are photographs of this house. Rates, the floor plan and the rooms themselves go up here as each is settled, and anyone who has registered below hears first.
South-west Delhi
The house is being built near Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention and Expo Centre — which is the reason it is being built there at all. If you are in Delhi for something at Yashobhoomi, twelve rooms a short way from the hall beats a taxi across the city at either end of the day.
Dwarka also puts the airport within reach without the usual argument about traffic, and the Sector 21 interchange carries the Airport Express.
It is where the rest of Mynnt already is, too. Hotel HomeAste keeps twenty rooms in Sector 19, the apartments are spread across the sub-city, and both restaurants are a short drive away. The Dwarka house joins a group that already knows the roads.
